Our Name, Our Identity
We are Immunes — named after the elite Roman legionary soldiers who were excused from routine tasks like ditch-digging and patrolling the ramparts. Why? Because they possessed specialised skills that were too valuable to waste on mundane labour.
Like our ancient namesakes, we believe that true expertise deserves focus. We are the craftsmen, the problem-solvers, the specialists who do what others cannot.
The Roman Legacy
In the Roman legions, the immunes held a unique position. They were soldiers who possessed skills so valuable — physicians, engineers, craftsmen, architects — that commanders exempted them from the exhausting daily duties that wore down ordinary troops.
This wasn't privilege for its own sake. It was strategic wisdom: let the specialists specialise. A skilled armourer repairing weapons serves the legion better than the same man digging ditches.
"The strength of the legion lies not only in the sword, but in the hands that forge it, the minds that plan its use, and the healers who mend its wielders."
